I am a Doctoral Researcher in the School of Law & Politics at University of Hull, receiving co-supervision from Hull University Business School.

My research refers to the influence of the Internet & Social Media to political participation in Europe, emphasising on representation practices and branding motivations for MEPs.

Born and raised in Greece, I have extensive 15yr professional experience (private and public sector) in Healthcare Informatics Project Mgt, European Funding Research Projects, HR & Remuneration, Lifelong Training Design, Private Investment Appraisal and State Subsidies, International & Diplomatic Liaisoning.

I am a member of UACES (University Association for Contemporary European Studies), ECPR (European Consortium for Political Research), PSA (Political Studies Association), GPSG (Greek Politics Specialist Group), HPSA (Hellenic Political Studies Association), AEdE (Association Européenne des Enseignants), Hellenic Chamber of Management, Hellenic Chamber of Economics, Hellenic National Investment Appraisal Registry.
Research Interests:
My research interests include citizen representation, political participation, preference formation, political marketing & MEP branding, social media & internet politics, e-deliberation, e-democracy & electoral systems, European & Greek politics.
